description
Designed for precision. Crafted from purple bamboo and finished with 100 fine prongs, this chasen delivers a consistent whisk and a refined, silky matcha texture.
why refined matcha?
Kagoshima, Japan
Volcanic soil. Perfect climate. Refined matcha.
Shaped by the mineral-rich volcanic soil surrounding Sakurajima, Refined Matcha develops a deep umami flavour and a smooth, refined finish.
First flush
First harvest. Peak quality.
Picked in early spring, when the leaves are most tender, vibrant and rich in umami.
Shade-grown
Shaded before harvest. Enhanced umami.
By limiting sunlight, the leaves develop deeper flavour and a more vibrant green colour.
Stone-milled
Slowly ground. Ultra fine.
Stone grinding preserves flavour, colour and nutrients.
Tasting notes
Deep umami. Natural sweetness. Silky smooth.
No bitterness. Just balance.
Caffeine
Roughly 60 to 70mg per serving.
Close to a single espresso, with L-theanine flattening the curve: alert without the crash.

Refined heeft echt de lekkerste matcha! Ik vond het nooit echt lekker totdat ik het bij Noa's bakery in Rotterdam probeerde.
