Refined Society is a community built around connection.
In a world that moves faster by the day, and where so much of our social lives happen behind a screen, we want to create more opportunities to connect in real life. To meet new people, share experiences, slow down for a moment and simply enjoy being around others.
Refined started as a matcha webshop, but it quickly became so much more. Through pop-ups and events, we noticed something that kept coming back: people genuinely crave connection. They want to socialise, discover new things, have conversations, and enjoy a really good matcha while doing it.
That is where the idea for Refined Cafe came from.
We are currently working behind the scenes to bring Refined Cafe to life, together with The Refined Shop, our in-store concept store where you will be able to discover and shop the products from our webshop.
But the cafe is only one part of what we are building.
We don’t want Refined Cafe to be just another coffee shop. We want it to become a place where people can come together. A place to meet a friend, make a new one, take a break from work, escape the everyday stress, or simply sit down with a good drink and enjoy the moment.
Alongside the cafe, we are growing Refined Society as a community through events, collaborations and experiences. We have lots of exciting things in the works, all with one goal in mind: bringing people together and creating a space where you can feel inspired, connected and completely yourself.
And that brings us to this blog.
Every week, we will share a little piece of the Refined world with you. Sometimes it might be about one of our upcoming events or collaborations. Sometimes a matcha fact you didn’t know. Other times, it might be something completely different: a thought, a lesson, an idea, or something we think is worth sharing.
Consider this your little weekly moment to slow down and step into the world of Refined.
We are still building, creating and figuring things out behind the scenes, but our biggest dream has always remained the same:
